IDF murders two Palestinians, including child in West Bank

(MENAFN) Two Palestinians, including a 16-year-old boy, were shot dead and two others injured by Israeli army fire on Saturday evening in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported.

The ministry stated that the teenager was killed in the town of Qabatiya, southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank, and added that Israeli forces withheld his body. Social media footage showed the boy walking when he came under heavy fire from Israeli soldiers.

A 22-year-old Palestinian was also killed by Israeli forces in the town of Silah al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, during a raid in which the army deployed across the area, according to witnesses.

In addition, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that two Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire near Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, and in Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem.

Since October 2023, Israeli forces and illegal settlers have reportedly killed at least 1,102 Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, injured nearly 11,000, and detained around 21,000. In July 2025, the International Court of Justice ruled Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
